Training continues in Nace O'Dowd park each Tuesday and Thursday evening. It is important to get some decent training in at this stage of the season. Trevor McGuinn is running the sessions. Trevor is utilising his experienced gained with the county panel to put the Mullinabreena panel through their paces. The focus of the training sessions is on physical fitness. This will shift to ball work later when the summer time and long evenings permit.
The Foot and mouth procedures are still in place and all players are asked to co-operate with the instructions. 17 players attended yesterdays session. This is a good turnout and it is expected to increase in the coming weeks. The first game of the season is scheduled for next Sunday foot and mouth permitting! |
