Aurivo commits to supporting local Sligo GAA club Coolaney Mullinabreena in three-year sponsorship programme

Aurivo Co-op has announced details of a three-year sponsorship deal with local Sligo GAA club Coolaney Mullinabreena. The sponsorship will see the construction of ‘The Connacht Gold Community Track’ at the club’s grounds, Nace O’Dowd Park, Achonry.

‘The Connacht Gold Community Track’ will surround the perimeter of the new pitch and will be enjoyed by the entire community including GAA fans, walkers and runners, and those from the local community who want to get active.

Commenting on the sponsorship, Aaron Forde, CEO of Aurivo said: “We’re delighted to partner with Coolaney Mullinabreena GAA club to support this important initiative of the development of a local community facility. We hope that the Connacht Gold Community Path will be enjoyed by all of the community and will provide a focal point for those wishing to get fit and keep active. Coolaney Mullinabreena has strong community links and a thriving underage scene showing the strong future potential in the club. I am sure that some of the young stars at the club will go on to represent Sligo at an inter-county level in years to come and Aurivo is proud to be a part of this journey.”

Welcoming the announcement, Fr. Paul Kivlehan, Chairman, Coolaney Mullinabreena GAA club commented: “We launched our five year strategic development plan in 2013 to ensure the future for the club. The sponsorship from Aurivo means we will be able to construct a walkway around our newly developed pitch which will be used by all in the community. Once all construction at our grounds is complete in 2018, I am sure that Nace O’Dowd Park will be the envy of every other club in the county.”
