Christmas Competition:
It’s that time of year again and once more we have decided to run with our now annual Christmas competition.
To enter, simply answer the following question:
In what year was the GAA founded?
This year, we will have two separate prizes, one for our website entries and one for text entries. For web entry just log on to www.coolaneymullinabreena.com and leave your name and answer. For text entry, simply text your name and answer to 087-7981827.
Prizes of €50 each will be awarded to the two lucky winners. Good luck!
Medal Presentation:
A medal presentation for our successful U-12 and U-16 teams will take place on Wednesday December 30th at 7pm in St. Nathy’s Hall. Dublin Senior Footballer Ger Brennan will be in attendance on the night to present the medals along with club and county player Barry Kivlehan. Music on the evening will be provided by ‘Fergal and Friends’.
Club AGM:
The club’s annual general meeting has been fixed for Saturday January 9th in St. Nathy’s Hall, Mullinabreena at 6pm. All club members are encouraged to attend.
Bereavements:
The club wishes to extend sympathy to the Doherty family on the recent death of Bridget Doherty, Shancough, Coolaney. We extend sympathy to the Donohue and Ruttledge families on the death of Nora Donohue, Castleoye. Ar dheis Dé go raibh siad.
County Convention:
Best wishes to Walter Kivlehan who was returned as Connaught convention delegate at last Thursday’s county convention. Best wishes also to Tommy Kilcoyne who was elected to the central council unopposed.
New Arrival:
Congratulations to Gerry and Karena Lee, Carniara on the new addition of a baby boy to the family.
