It was a close match throughout, Coolaney/Mullinabreena had a edge throughout the game, it was overall team effort and their ability to score the goal that made the difference in the end.

Junior B Quarter Final
Well done to both our Junior Team and Management on their strong win over Calry/St Josephs in the Junior B Quarter Final.
Our side kicked off the game in the first 2 minutes with a great goal from Matthew Conlon. Calry/St Josephs responded well and scored a goal and a point in the following 4 minutes. Matthew Conlon leveled the sides with a good point in the tenth minute.  Eamon Gorman scored a goal shortly after giving our side a 3 point lead. After the water break Mat Conlon put another two points to the scoreboard. As the first half came to a close, Calry/St Josephs added one point to their score and Brian Marren pointed from play to give a score line of 2-04 to 1-02.

The second half seen Calry/St. Josephs dominant the game for the first quarter, despite many chances they only converted 2 points.
