Congratulations to the Junior B Team & Management on 2020 Junior B Championship Final Replay victory.  After a long wait and hard work it was brilliant to bring the Cup home. Well done to Mattie Conlon on Player of the Match Award, well deserved.

We would like to firstly thank the Players and Management for all their hard work and dedication. Special note of thanks to John Marren & Eamon Kilgannon who were excellent commentators for our live streaming and also to Conor Marren who made sure What’s The Scor and Twitter account was kept updated during the game. Thank you to Aaron in Elite Sports Video who ensure the live stream was perfect for the many viewers both here in Ireland and abroad. Many thanks to all the workers behind the scenes and you the supporters who flew the flag far and wide throughout our parishes.

Junior Team are back in action on Friday 18 June against Eastern Harps in Keash @ 8.00pm.

U17 Team

Well done to U17 Team & Management on 2 impressive wins last week.

Their first encounter on Tuesday 8 June, they defeated Geevagh/St Michaels. The match began with a minute’s silence in honour of Eoin Mulkeen. It was a tightly contested match throughout both sides leading at different intervals. Coolaney/Mullinabreena persisted and pushed on with great goals in the end to win by a margin of 6 points. Final score Coolaney/Mullinabreena 5.06 – Geevagh/St Michaels 5.06

U17 teams next outing was Nace O’Dowd Park on Friday evening last where they defeated Calry/St Josephs

The match started with a minute’s silence to honour Eoin Mulkeen at the Clubs Home ground. Coolaney/Mullinabreena played well throughout the game displaying good form and determination against a very fit and strong Calry/St Joseph’s side. It was a well contested game from both sides with the score lines level 5 times during the 60 minutes. Coolaney Mullinabreena pulled away at the end with a final score of Coolaney/Mullinabreena 3.09     Calry/St Joseph’s 1.12

Senior Team
Senior Team & Management had their first match of 2021 in the Kieran Cup Quarter Final on Sunday, unfortunately the side were defeated by a St Molaise Gaels. The match was held in ideal conditions in a sunny Oxfield Park. The first half seen the sides staying close in score line and performance. At half time it was 50/50. In the later part of the second half St Molaise Gaels had an edge and began to pull away. Coolaney/Mullinabreena kept working hard unfortunately scores didn’t materialise giving St Molaise Gaels their first win of the season. Final score in Oxfield Park.
